Hunan Officials Launch Inquiry Over Sale of Children

(Beijing) – Top party officials in Hunan Province have opened an investigation into local family planning officials involved in the sale of abducted infants sold for profit.

According to sources close to the situation, Zhou Qiang, the secretary of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, signed a directive to launch an investigation over recent allegations of abducted children being sold for profit.
