64 More Institutions Enter China via QFII, CSRC Official Says

(Beijing) – This year China has approved 64 overseas institutions to invest up to US$ 11.9 billion in the country's securities market through the Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) program, an official from the securities regulator said on November 20.

This means 199 institutions have received an aggregate QFII investment quota of US$ 33.6 billion, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) official said.
