(Beijing) — The Shenzhen government has signaled that it may step in "when it is necessary" to dictate how online ride-hailing services in the city set prices, Caixin has learned.

A draft rule seen by Caixin shows the government in the southern city was mulling price curbs, but the rule did not elaborate the conditions under which it would do so. The draft has not been released for public comment.
