SIFs (Sustainable/Social Investment Forums, or Responsible Investment Associations) have played a key role in promoting ESG and sustainable investment worldwide, creating platforms for investors and other stakeholders to share ESG insights and practices. According to incomplete statistics, around 30 regional SIF organisations in the world advocate sustainable investment in different ways.

In the past decade, ESG development has grown tremendously in most markets of the world, as well as in China, especially after China declared its carbon targets. Today, integrating ESG considerations into the investment process has become one of mainstream investors' most popular approaches.

Initiated in 2012, China SIF, with its mission of advocacy, research, and empowerment, has become one of the most influential platforms in the region after ten years of development.

In partnership with Caixin Global, we plan to host a webinar on Dec 12, 2022, inviting representatives of different SIF organisations to introduce and share the ESG development and prospects in their regions. The objective is to facilitate and enhance communications among SIF organisations and to explore the next decade of global sustainable investment.
