China Clears the Way for Boeing 737 Max Flight Resumption

China’s aviation authority instructed airlines to make changes needed to fly the Boeing 737 Max jetliner, clearing the way for the plane’s return to service in China after it was grounded globally more than 2 ½ years ago.
In an airworthiness directive released Thursday, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) said Boeing’s corrective actions on 737 Max’s Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System are adequate to address safety issues.
