Beijing Suspends After-School Classes After Two Students Test Positive

What’s new: Beijing has suspended in-person classes at after-school training institutions, authorities said Monday, after the Chinese capital confirmed five new Covid-19 cases, including two students.
The new cases were confirmed between 3 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. Monday, local authorities said at a press conference. Among them, two are primary school students who have recently visited local institutions that offer non-curriculum training classes, authorities said.
