Hong Kong Lists New Tool to Hedge Investing in Chinese Stocks

What’s new: Hong Kong’s first A-share structured products, MSCI China A 50 Connect Index Derivatives Warrants, debuted on the city’s stock exchange on Monday, giving overseas investors a new tool to hedge risks when investing in Chinese mainland stocks.
The warrants are based on the MSCI China A 50 Connect Index, which tracks 50 large- and mid-cap stocks listed on the mainland’s Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges, which are accessible through the stock connect program linking mainland and Hong Kong bourses.
