'Macroprudential' in the Eye of a Regulator Storm

People's Bank of China Vice President Su Ning recently said the central bank should prevent systematic risks by adopting macroprudential supervision.
"The current crisis challenges the effectiveness of traditional financial regulatory means, particularly the role of the central bank as the last resort for loans," Su said.
