WAP Portal 3g.cn Eyes IPO


(Beijing) - China's leading Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) portal, 3g.cn, announced that it has secured over US$ 100 million in a third round of funding. The company is eyeing an IPO at the end of the year.

According to 3g.cn, the company has received "more than US$ 100 million" in investment from four venture capital firms, including China Broadband Capital Partners LP, IDGVC Partners, JAFCO Investment (Asia Pacific) and WI Harper Group.
