Unirule: SOEs Register Negative Real Profits

(Beijing) -- Unirule Institute of Economics said state-owned enterprises did not make real net profits from 2001 to 2008, and many were in the red after accounting for low-cost land use, financing and resources.

Unirule, an independent think tank founded by a few prominent economists, released a report on March 2, which shed light on the real profits of state-owned enterprises.
