Yi Junqing (衣俊卿)

The chief of the Central Compilation and Translation Bureau (CCTB) for the Communist Party's Central Committee, Yi Junqing, was fired after his lover posted a long description of their affair online. Authorities said that Yi was let go because the issues in his personal life were not conducive to his ability to properly carry out his duties. The CCTB is charged with translating communist classics into Chinese and also serves as a think tank. Yi's removal is part of the government's renewed efforts to polish its image by punishing corruption and other sorts of bad behavior that reflect badly on the government.
