Securities Regulator Uses Big Data Technology 'to Protect Stock, Bond Deals'
(Beijing) – The securities regulator has been using big data technology to protect the country's stock and bond transactions against financial crimes, a source with knowledge of the system says.
The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) launched an information system to track and analyze fund companies' trading several years ago, the source said. Around 2009 that system was linked to Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses for monitoring transactions.
