Media Watch: Colonel Sanders Becomes Unexpected Victim of South China Sea Ruling

(Beijing) - Protestors seen shouting slogans outside American fast-food chains such as KFC after an international arbitration court ruled against China's territorial claims in the South China Sea, were not patriots and were breaking the law, Chinese media said.
A group protested outside an outlet of the popular chicken restaurant in Leting County in the northern province of Hebei on July 15, calling for a boycott of goods from the United States, Japan and South Korea, news site Sohu.com reported. One of their banners read "love our Chinese nation! You might only be having a meal at an American KFC, but what is lost is your ancestors' face."
