


Mdm Rahayu is a Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC and oversees the Bukit Batok East Division. She is passionate about supporting residents in need and developing opportunities for people to come together to help one another. She has introduced many social programmes in Bukit Batok East, to help families, support students and uplift women. Her initiatives with volunteers have also led to Bukit Batok East being recognised as a Dementia-Friendly Community in Singapore.
In Parliament, Mdm Rahayu has championed the interests of the special needs’ community, youth development, as well as efforts to empower women and preserve a strong, multi-racial and multi-religious community. She is also the Deputy Chairperson of the REACH Supervisory Panel, which seeks to engage Singaporeans on national and social issues. A firm believer of mentoring and youth empowerment, she leads the Malay/Muslim community’s efforts with youth as part of M³ to harness their strengths and uplift the community.
拉哈尤女士是裕廊集选区的国会议员,主管武吉巴督东区。她热心帮助有需要的居民,并致力于营造一个守望相助的居住环境。她也在武吉巴督东区推出多项社会计划,帮助区内的家庭、学生及妇女。她与义工合作推出的项目,也让武吉巴督东区成为新加坡亲失智症者社区之一。
在国会里,拉哈尤女士积极为特需群体的权益、青年发展及增强妇女权能,以及我国在维系凝聚力强的多元种族、多元宗教社会所做的努力发声。此外,她带领由三个马来机构组成的M立方在提高青年能力及指导青年方面的工作,以及该组织在马来回教社群内推广健康生活方面的努力。
