Jarlon has more than 25 years of venture investing and operational experience in the Silicon Valley and Asia Pacific, with the last 15 years focused on investments in China. He now oversees Eight Roads Ventures’ investments, operations and portfolio management in China, while also serving on the firm’s global investment committee, helping shape its global investment strategy. Eight Roads Ventures China has invested over $1.2 billion in more than 120 companies. He currently serves on the boards of several Eight Roads portfolio companies including Blueglass (a premium yogurt brand), Cataya(a synthetic biology company) and Ruiyun Cold Chain(a leading logistics service platform).
Jarlon received a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor cum laude and MBA from Boston University’s School of Law and Graduate School of Management, respectively.
