Prior to joining the Kingsoft in January 2020, Mr. He served as an executive director of the TMT (telecommunications, media and technology) group and the mergers and acquisitions group sequentially at Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. from September 2015 to January 2020. Mr. He has extensive experience in complex merger and acquisition transactions and headed Asia M&A department at Goldman Sachs. Previously, Mr. He was a vice president at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. in New York. Mr. He has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of Sipai Health Technology Co., Ltd. (HKEx: 0314) since December 2022 and as the chairperson of its Audit Committee since May 2024. Mr. He has also been appointed as an independent non-executive director and the chairperson of the Audit Committee of Ximalaya Inc. since April 2024.
Mr. He studied financial management and economics under Nobel Economics Laureate Eugene Fama at University of Chicago, and received MBA from University of Chicago in March 2014. Mr. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
Mr. He is recognized as one of “The Best CFOs in Asia” by Institutional Investor. Outside of work, Mr. He had participated in the Netflix Award, a global A.I. algorithm contest, where his team "The Ensemble," tied for first place for its movie precision recommendation algorithm. Mr. He is also the owner of two US financial model algorithm patents. In addition, Mr. He is also a music ambassador at the Carnegie Hall in New York.
