As a founding member of the company, Dr. Haojun Wang has served as the technical leader of the Map and Localization module for autonomous driving, the Head of the US Site, and the Head of the Shanghai R&D center, bringing the latest breakthroughs in artificial intelligence to Pony.ai's autonomous driving platform. Dr. Wang previously worked at IBM Silicon Valley Lab and Baidu's US R&D center, where he focused on database engine and big data information system development, and was an early member to lead the development of Baidu's self-driving Map and Localization system. He holds a B.S. from Shanghai Jiaotong University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, specializing in multidimensional data and mobile location services research.
王皓俊博士作为公司的创始成员，先后担任自动驾驶地图与定位模块技术负责人、美国研发中心负责人、上海研发中心负责人等，将人工智能领域最新的突破引入小马智行的自动驾驶平台。王皓俊博士曾在IBM Silicon Valley Lab（硅谷实验室）和百度美国研发中心工作，从事数据库引擎和大数据信息系统开发，并曾作为早期成员主导百度自动驾驶地图与定位系统的开发。王皓俊拥有上海交通大学学士及美国南加州大学计算机系博士学位，专业方向为多维数据及行动定位服务研究。
