A former journalist and creative strategist, Karen founded Alterpacks after witnessing the impact of waste on vulnerable communities. Today, the company operates regionally and collaborates with global agencies such as the United Nations Development Programme in Indonesia and the National Innovation Agency of Thailand to co-develop scalable, waste-to-resource solutions.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and History (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Innovation from Singapore Management University, where she was on the Dean’s List and recognized as a Leadership Scholar.
曾担任记者与创意策略师的Karen，在目睹废弃物对弱势群体的影响后创立了Alterpacks。目前公司业务覆盖亚洲多国，并与联合国开发计划署印尼办公室、泰国国家创新局等国际机构合作，共同开发可规模化的废料资源化解决方案。
Karen持有新加坡国立大学数学与历史学（荣誉）学士学位，以及新加坡管理大学创新理学硕士学位。在读期间她入选院长名单，并获得领导力学者荣誉。
