Damien Keogh Damien Keogh
CEO & Board Director, Founder, BluMaiden Biosciences BluMaiden Biosciences
Damien Keogh, Ph.D. is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BluMaiden Biosciences, where he pioneered the vision to harness AI for discovering human-derived small molecule therapeutics – molecules shaped by evolution that function as safer, more biocompatible drugs in humans. Since founding BluMaiden in 2020, Dr. Keogh has scaled its AI-driven reverse-translation platform to integrate chemistry and biology engines, forging collaborations and technology partnerships across Singapore and the United States.

Under his leadership, BluMaiden has established drug discovery partnerships and collaborations, including with Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles, and became an AWS Qualified Software Partner, delivering a scaled, validated platform for AI-augmented small molecule therapeutics discovery. He assembled the company's founding team, board of directors, and distinguished scientific advisory board – including Dr. Dermot McGovern, Cedars-Sinai and Co-Founder of Prometheus Biosciences; Dr. Terry Kelly, former Head of Chemistry at Boehringer Ingelheim; and Dr. Damian O’Connell, former SVP Drug Discovery at Bayer/Pfizer and now CEO of Singapore’s national drug discovery platform, EDDC – while securing strategic partnerships and funding to drive the company's growth.

In January 2026, Dr. Keogh founded the Irish Life Science Network Singapore (ILSNS), launched at an Irish Chamber of Commerce event supported by Ireland's former Prime Minister. He secured the patronage of the Irish Embassy in Singapore, Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, and the Chamber. The network connects the Irish life sciences diaspora and supporters across Singapore and Asia-Pacific, strengthening collaboration between Ireland and Singapore's life science ecosystems, and has built strong early momentum, having already hosted five events and grown to hundreds of members across Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Dr. Keogh is Adjunct Professor at Trinity College Dublin’s School of Medicine, Board Advisor to SUSA – an EU-funded Pan-European initiative under the Digital Europe Programme spanning 12 universities across 9 countries – and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for A*STAR Singapore’s ASMP 2.0 Program. Prior to BluMaiden, he held venture capital roles as Entrepreneur-in-Residence, contributing to biotech spin-outs, and is a Johnson & Johnson Innovation JLABS alumnus.

Dr. Keogh holds a B.Sc. in Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology, with 12 years of international research experience in glycobiology and microbial-host interactions, producing multiple peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary publications. His Bristol Myers Squibb-sponsored academic research developed novel glycoselective bioaffinity technologies, resulting in a successful university spin-out.

2026 年 1 月,Keogh 博士创立 Irish Life Sciences Network Singapore(ILSNS)。
