A former U.S. Army Special Forces officer, Gene has also held roles as an equity swaps trader at Credit Suisse and in business development at Palantir Technologies. Over the past 25 years, he has lived and worked in seven countries, with a core focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
Gene is the author of The Second Shot: A Green Beret's Last Mission, published by Amazon Publishing in the U.S., which chronicles a real-life kidnap-and-ransom operation against Filipino terrorists.
He is an alumnus of West Point, Johns Hopkins SAIS, and Stanford GSB.
