NetEase sets up Tokyo studio to produce console games
Chinese internet and gaming giant NetEase Inc. said on Monday that it had established a new game studio in Tokyo to “focus on developing high-quality console titles that will be released globally.”
The Hangzhou-based firm has hired Toshihiro Nagoshi, who was the chief creative officer at Japanese game developer Sega Games Co. Ltd., to lead the studio.
