TikTok sibling launches trial food delivery service in major cities

ByteDance-owned TikTok’s sister app Douyin is trialing a food delivery service in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu in search of a new revenue source, putting itself in direct competition with industry leaders Meituan and Alibaba’s Ele.me.
