HK Market Changes View on Mainland Developers' IPOs

(.com.cn) Investors in the Hong Kong stock market are revising their view of initial public offerings by mainland property developers, focusing more on financial health than the sheer size of land reserves, analysts told .
These investors are more selective
and domestic real estate firms are not as sought-after as they were before, said
Cai Hongping, president of UBS in Asia.
The capital market has
become more aware of risk following a painful correction of the mainland
property sector late last year, said Guan Penggang, Bank of America-Merrill
Lynch director in China.
