HSBC Bank Opens in Foshan

HSBC Bank (China) will open a branch in Foshan, Guangdong Province, bringing the total number of the bank's branches in the province to 22.

The branch will focus on providing services to corporate customers. The creation of the bank is under the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Agreement, which allows the Hong Kong-based bank to open branches in cities in Guangdong Province, besides Guangzhou, the capital.
