New China Life, Zurich Insurance Sign Pact

(Caixin Online) New China Life Insurance Co. Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation for technological support, business expansion and management in China's markets on March 17.

The memo also covers the cooperation of the two insurers concerning the Chinese insurer's overseas expansion.

Zurich Insurance is the second largest shareholder of New China Life. In 2008, the two cooperated to develop three small insurance products targeting China's rural customers.
