Rio Tinto Trials to Start

(Caixin Online) The trials of the four Rio Tinto staff charged for commercial crimes are scheduled to begin next Monday in Shanghai.

The trial is set to be held in the Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court. However, as of March 17, no public statement has been published by the court, meaning the hearing will most likely be closed to the public on concerns of business secrets, according to a defendant's lawyer.
