Geithner on American Vigor, Studying Chinese

(Beijing) - U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner discussed hard lessons from the financial crisis, progress in the China-U.S. dialogue process, complementary economies, and a personal Beijing experience from his college days during an exclusive interview May 25 with Hu Shuli, Caixin's editor-in-chief.

He also described the benefits of the U.S. market as a force for innovation, but said the post-crisis United States is adopting China's more conservative approach toward financial management.
