Coup on the Sea for Sinovel in Shanghai

(Beijing) - Wind power promoters in China are beaming with pride following this year's completion of the Shanghai East China Sea Bridge project – a 100,000 kilowatt complex of turbines spinning over the ocean.

And some of the widest smiles are on the faces of executives at wind turbine manufacturer Sinovel, which in recent years has rocketed from obscurity to No. 1 in the Chinese wind power sector and, thanks to its success in Shanghai, can expect more growth in the future.
