Obama Books a Flight to Asia
When he scheduled a four nation Asian trip months ago, Barack Obama didn't count on arriving as a seriously weakened leader. Now, as he touches down in India on November 6, he'll be coming either as a U.S. President who can reinvent himself and his party, or one who will be a lame duck for the next two years, meaning that he will have very little ability to deliver on commitments. Presidents in trouble often like to travel abroad. But it's a risky strategy with voters.
