CITIC Group Names New Chairman

(Beijing) -- China International Trust and Investment Corporation (CITIC) Group has named Chang Zhenming as the group's new chairman and party secretary to replace the company's current chairman Kong Dan who will retire, CITIC announced on its website December 29.

The 54-year old Chang has been the vice-chairman and president of CITIC Group since 2006. He was previously the president of the Bank of Communications.
