January New Lending Estimated at 1.1 Tln Yuan

(Beijing) -- New credit issued by mid-sized and small banks in January accounted for about 70 percent of total January lending, according to estimates by many banking analysts.

New lending by China’s four biggest banks amounted to 320 billion yuan while total bank lending hit 1.1 trillion yuan.

China’s four biggest banks are Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of China and Agricultural Bank of China.
