Leadership Shake-up at China's Iron Ore Negotiation Body

(Beijing)–China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), a national organization which represents the country's steel industry in international iron ore price talks, announced major leadership changes at a February 21 conference.

Shang Shanghua, general secretary of the CISA, and Luo Bingsheng, executive deputy chairman, have retired from their positions, while Zhang Changfu, formerly a vice-chairman at the association, has been named general secretary, and Wang Xiaoqi, the former director of the planning and development bureau of the State-owned Asset Supervision and Administration, will take the position of Luo.
