Official Says Culture Industry May See Fewer Financing Barriers

(Beijing) -- China may soon lower restrictions for publishing and entertainment companies in bank loan financing and initial public offerings in the near future.

In an interview with Caixin, Deputy Minister of Culture Ouyang Jian said a blueprint for the culture industry, which includes entertainment companies, publishing companies, broadcasters and print media, will be released in April or May.
