Market Wants to Know: How Far Will Weibo Go?

Sina Weibo, China's Twitter-like microblog, introduced a new company logo and switched domains April 7 in an apparent declaration of independence.

Hammering home a new distinction between Nasdaq-listed Sina, one of China's largest web portals, and its Weibo offshoot was Sina President and CEO Cao Guowei, who declared recently that Weibo was not only an affiliated unit under Sina.
