A New Cycle or Hard Landing?

A debate on the outlook of the Chinese economy was stirred after Nouriel Roubini, professor of economics at New York University, warned of a hard landing for the Chinese economy in 2013.

Roubini, whose bearish predictions before the financial crisis earned him the moniker, Dr. Doom, said recently that China's economy has overheated and will see a dramatic slump when fixed asset investment declines.
