Underdisclosed Silinco to Debut China Growth Board

(Beijing) -- Jiangxi Silinco Co., set for a listing on China's high-tech start-up board ChiNext, fails to adequately inform investors of its environmentally unfriendly products.

Silinco, based in eastern China's Jiangxi Province, mainly produces MMT, a gasoline additive that contains heavy metal manganese. MMT is added to oil to reduce engine knock, but is also harmful for the environment as a contributor to heavy metals in the air.
