The Rise and Fall of SMEs
Days ago, an old client from Jiangsu Province came to visit me in Beijing. When we met, I was shocked: only five years ago, he was young and energetic – now he looks haggard, has gray hair and has become an old man. He is just in early forties. After speaking to him for a while, he told me his firm had gone bankrupt.
When he was just a fresh college graduate, he was assigned to work at a research institution. He invented a set of printing and dying equipment. He quit his job and opened a factory of his own; at the time, he was less than 25 years old.
