Shaoyang Investigator Says Missing Children Cases Faked

(Beijing) – A leading investigator of the Hunan missing child case said to the state-run newspaper People's Daily on July 14 that the child trafficking cases publicized in May were faked.

The chief of the Supervisory Bureau of Shaoyang City, Zeng Dingbao said in an interview that the investigation found major discrepancies with related media reports.
