Lucky Air VP Says Low-Cost Airlines Require New Strategy

(Beijing) -- The Chinese civil aviation industry needs to develop a strategy for low-cost airlines to compete for customers on high speed railway links, said Li Dianchun, vice president of Hainan Airline's subsidiary Lucky Air airline.

Li made the remark in a speech on the 2011 Aviation Outlook China, the leading industry forum held this year in Shanghai on July 6 to 7 for airline and airport operators to exchange ideas and explore business opportunities.
