CNR Halts Production of Bullet Train

(Beijing) – Train maker China CNR Corp. (SHE: 601299) said on August 9 that it has suspended production of one bullet train model to address technical glitches.

In an exchange filing, CNR attributed the decision to inaccurate accident reporting by the train's automatic protection system, for which the train's brakes are programmed to respond.
