Hurun Report: Beijing Leads with Most Millionaires

(Beijing) – Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai and Zhejiang Province are home to the most millionaires in China, according to the Hurun Wealth Report, with Beijing topping off the list at 170,000 yuan-denominated millionaires.

The ranks of China's superrich shot up to over 4,000 billionaires in 2010, according to the Hurun Wealth Report. The number of multi-millionaires rose to 960,000 in 2010, a ten percent increase.

The report categorized the super-wealthy in four groups: private business owners, property speculators, stock market gurus and high-level executives.
