China's Car Sales Up 5.1% in August
(Beijing) -- China's car sales totaled 900,000 units in August, up 7.2 percent from a month earlier and 5.1 percent from a year earlier, according to data from China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
In the first eight months of 2011, a total of 7.2 million passenger cars were sold nationwide, up 8.7 percent from the same period last year, according to the CPCA.
