Consultancy: Chinese PE Funds Withdraw Nearly US$ 10 Bln in Investment

(Beijing) -- In the first eight months of 2011, Chinese PE funds have exited from US$ 9.9 billion worth of investments, up 231 percent from a year earlier, according to data from Asian Venture Capital Journal.

The initial public offering of invested companies is still the major channel for the exit of PE funds, said the Journal, which provides information for Asian private equity funds and venture capital firms.
