Legal Scholars Call for College Entrance Exam Reform

Every academic season, a new set of controversies and events surrounding the Chinese college entrance exam captures the public's attention, renewing a heated and long-standing debate over how the system can be reformed.

Here's another round: 15 famous legal scholars have signed a public letter to Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, calling on him to "abolish the household registry ban on entrance examination candidates."
