China Mobile Denies Rumors of Faulty SIM Cards

(Beijing) – China Mobile, the leading mobile services provider in China, batted away accusations that faulty SIM cards were sold with the iPhone 4S through the company's micro-blog. 

However, a customer service representative at China Mobile confirmed that iPhone 4S subscribers can't use China Mobile's 3G SIM card. 

Notices posted at China Mobile sales offices listed possible troubleshooting tips for SIM cards issued specifically with the iPhone 4S. The notice added that China Mobile's SIM card could be incompatible with the operating system of the recently-released iPhone.
