Closer Look: Securities Regulator Breaks the Silence

Major reforms to China's securities market could be on the horizon, following recent remarks made by the newly-appointed securities regulator Guo Shuqing.

At the annual work conference of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, Guo Shuqing said reforms should be pushed forward in the development in the IPO approval system, and called for more effective supervision from market players based on transparent information disclosure.
