Anti-Corruption Officials Look to Internet

In a recent press conference, Chinese anti-corruption officials for the first time publicly pledged to leverage the Internet and microblogs in fighting crime.
How exactly the government plans to use the Internet, however, is an open question, as the officials did not elaborate on future strategy or regulations. The government has often walked a fine line when it comes to corruption tips online, sometimes drawing on citizen reports and at other points deleting sites that expose too much.
