Official PMI Indicators Show Factory Output Up in March
(Beijing) – China saw its fourth consecutive monthly rise in manufacturing activity, according to the National Bureau of Statistics and China Federation of Logistics and Planning.
The CFLP said the month of March saw a 2.1 point increase in the purchasing manager's index at 53.1. The figure is the highest level recorded since last March.
According to the NBS and the CFLP, Chinese enterprises saw a major bounce back in purchasing and faster production growth due to a revival in demand, particularly in the equipment manufacturing sector.
