Software, Messaging Titans Battle over Cyberspace

The operator of China's most popular online chat service and a successful anti-virus software company are locked in a clash of Internet titans that could set a legal course for future intellectual property rights decisions.

A lawsuit in Guangdong Province filed against the QQ messaging firm Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. by software provider Qihoo Technology Co. Ltd. marks the second round of a row that began in 2010 and could cost the loser hundreds of millions of yuan.
