Hu Urges Improved Sino-U.S. Trust

(Beijing) - China and the United States need to deepen trust in each other, expand their common ground and properly deal with differences, Chinese President Hu Jintao said as the two countries opened regular trade and diplomatic talks in Beijing on May 3.

"Given our different national conditions, it is impossible for both China and the United States to see eye to eye on every issue," Hu said as the Strategic and Economic Dialogue opened.
